The first book by the famous Russian photographer and social worker Dmitry Markov.
Dmitry Markov started an Instagram account as an experiment, without any photographic pretensions. Everything changed after Dmitry took part in the Burn Diary project, for which he filmed everyday life in Pskov on his cell phone. The @dcim.ru account acquired a clear focus - provincial sketches and social stories, the heroes of which were ordinary people from the Russian province. In 2015, Dmitry Markov received a Getty Images and Instagram grant for documentary photographers, and in 2016 he became the first Russian participant in Apple's "Shot on iPhone" campaign.
